These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of zanqeli.com and the car rental services provided by Zanqeli ("Company", "we", "us"). By booking a vehicle or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Booking Requirements
- You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a vehicle.
- You must hold a valid Bangladeshi driving licence or an international driving permit recognised in Bangladesh.
- You must present a valid National ID (NID) card or passport at vehicle collection.
- A refundable security deposit is required at pickup. The amount varies by vehicle class.
2. Booking and Payment
Bookings may be made via our website contact form, phone or email. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Zanqeli. All prices are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT / ৳) and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
2.1 Payment Methods
- Cash (BDT) at vehicle pickup
- bKash, Nagad or Rocket mobile banking
- Bank transfer for corporate accounts
2.2 Pricing
Quoted rates include the vehicle, basic insurance, unlimited mileage within Bangladesh and 24/7 roadside assistance. Fuel is the renter's responsibility unless a pre-paid fuel option is selected. Driver fees, if applicable, are quoted separately.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Free cancellation — up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Late cancellation fee — cancellations within 24 hours incur a fee equal to 20% of the first day's rental rate.
- No-show — failure to collect the vehicle without prior notice will result in a charge equal to one full day's rental rate.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.
4. Vehicle Use and Prohibited Activities
The rented vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
- Allowing any person not listed in the rental agreement to drive the vehicle
- Using the vehicle for racing, off-road driving or any commercial transport purpose
- Taking the vehicle outside Bangladesh without prior written consent from Zanqeli
- Smoking inside the vehicle (a cleaning fee of ৳3,000 applies if violated)
- Transporting any illegal goods, animals or hazardous materials
5. Insurance and Liability
All vehicles include third-party liability insurance as standard. Comprehensive collision damage coverage is available as an optional upgrade. The renter is liable for:
- Any damage not covered by the selected insurance tier
- Traffic fines, toll charges or parking penalties incurred during the rental period
- Loss of keys (replacement cost applies)
6. Vehicle Condition and Return
You must return the vehicle on the agreed date and time, in the same condition as received (fair wear and tear excepted), with the same fuel level or as otherwise agreed. Late returns will be charged at the standard daily rate on a pro-rata basis.
7. Breakdown and Emergency
In the event of a breakdown, contact our 24/7 support line at +880-1711-234567. Do not attempt repairs without our authorisation. Zanqeli will arrange roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle where reasonably practicable.
8. Limitation of Liability
Zanqeli is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka.
